on another point, i would just like to say that i really appreciate this site. i love the fact how if i dont grasp somthing, i can ask about it, and have things explained to me pretty nicely.

Thank God for pinko commies like you. You both made very good points. I feel silly and naive for it not occuring to me that the drug companies knew about the problem and continued distributing the drug regardless. Like the cost of recall being cheaper that cost of settlements dort of deal. When I think of the possibilities it is pretty alarming. Like now with the patriot act they can pretty much go about anything unchecked and not liable for fuck ups.

The rise of Autism is definitely enough to warrant caution in the use of so many vaccinations, especially when a few companies make huge money as contractors to the government to provide vaccinations. Whereever there's money involved you have to be skeptical.

Oh, and... if your child was one of the ones who'd been vaccine-damaged, I'm thinking your reaction would be slightly different. Parents should at least be asked, by their child's physician, to review their own medical histories and those of their relatives in order to determine if their own children may be predisposed toward vax damage. That should be SOP in every medical practice in the world, IMO...

Thimerosal has been known for a long time to cause problems. It's not necessary. Why is it there?

The pharm companies may not have done it on purpose, but they were also slow to act for fear of losing money.

And if all is well with the vaxes, why seal the records?

Methinks it's more the vax load than any individual vax that causes problems. Infants are so pumped full of vaxes starting at birth or two months -- it's ridiculous. Thirty years ago there were two -- three if you count smallpox -- vaxes administered. Now a kid can be scheduled for as many as 4-6 at a time.

Yuck.

eh... im a little iffy as to thinking they should be sued. these are vaccinations that were made to save childrens lives. i think that it is unfortunate that it resulted in small scale incidents of autism, but i dont think that the vaccination companies should be liable. it wasnt knowingly done and the problem has been corrected. i repeat that these are life-saving vaccinations.
