I used to feel like that all the time. Still do, sometimes.

Not so much now as during my early adulthood and first marriage, but occasionally. Couldn't do it now, of course...there's the child, the husband, the school. I can't stand leaving baby even for a few hours.

If you're going to do that, you should before you get married and end up with all those obligations. And please send me a postcard so I know *somebody* finally was able to do it.

Become a teacher. You only work 184 days per year. You could get lost for the whole summer. Don't forget one week off in November, 2 weeks + off in December, one week in March, other holidays, plus the fact that you could really love your job.

Actually, Gabe did pull a disappearing act. Then he showed up skinny, brown, and with a beard. I hadn't seen him in months!
